Construction of a new R700 million maltings plant for South African Breweries to replace the existing brewery at their Alrode site. The existing Alrode plant is about 40 years old and coming towards the end of its economic life. It will be decommissioned once the new plant is fully operational. The new plant should be commissioned in April 2015.
