About this development
Construction of a new shaft complex on the farm Klipgat 281 JQ and additional infrastructure and services including an access road, a railway line between the operation and the existing siding, service pipelines, power supply lines and a waste rock dump. A new ventilation shaft, extensions to the existing refrigeration plant and an extension to the waste rock dump at the existing Driefontein operations. New ventilation shafts at the existing Frank operations lease area and extensions to the existing refrigeration plant at Frank 2 shaft. To be known as Rustenburg Deep Projects.
