About this development
Construction of the Robertville 2.25Ml water tower and pump station, in Robertville, Randburg, Gauteng. CIDB 8CE. The work is broadly described, but not limited to: 2.25Ml concrete water tower, with associated piping, valve room at new tower site, guard and telemetry buildings, scour/overflow structures, perimeter fence at reservoir and tower sites, paved access and parking areas, sewer line to service guard house, 650mm diameter steel supply pipe from existing reservoir to new tower, 650mm diameter steel delivery pipe from new tower to existing network, all shutdown arrangements for tie-ins of the supply and delivery pipes to existing infrastructure, cathodic protection for new pipeline, telemetry for pump operations, supply and install pumps at reservoir site, supply and install generator at reservoir site and pipework at reservoir site and new tower site to connect new supply pipe. The proposed tower site is located on open land in Robertsville on the corner of Anvil and Nadine streets, the GPS is 26°11'32.9"S 27°55'24.3"E
