Construction of Road K60 between Maxwell Drive and Allandale Road, Midrand, Gauteng. CIDB 9CE. The scope of work includes the construction of a four-lane, undivided single carriageway section of Road K60. Some parts of K60 along this route have already been built as a two-lane single carriageway, and this contract will expand those sections by widening the road to four lanes. The project also includes the construction of two bridge structures: one over the Jukskei River (Van Der Bijl Avenue River Bridge) and another over the N1 Freeway. Additionally, the works involve realigning a section of the Old Pretoria Main Road (P1-2) and building a new service road to restore access to the existing development at the northeast corner of the K60/P1-2 intersection.
