Construction of the P874 Warehouse located on Riverfields Extension 97, Pasture Street, Witfontein, Kempton Park, Gauteng. The new warehouse development has a gross floor area totalling approximately 10 995m². The Main building contract comprises the following: the construction is generally a concrete and structural steelwork framed structure rising off reinforced concrete bases and strip footings. The buildings externally have brick walls with plaster and paint finishes to facades, purpose made glazed aluminium shop-front windows and steel canopies to certain areas. The warehouse externally has in-situ concrete walls. The roof over consist of steel roof trusses with steel roof sheeting, side cladding and waterproofed concrete slabs over certain areas. The internal divisions are a combination of carpet, ceramic and porcelain tiles to patterns and power floated concrete. Ceilings are a combination of acoustic panels and skim coated ceilings, all in a suspended ceiling grid system. The contract also includes for conventional electrical installation, air-conditioning, stormwater and soil drainage, plumbing, sanitary fittings, domestic water supply, fire services, retaining walls, steps and paving.
