About this development
Construction of right of way lanes and appurtenant work in Beviss Road / Qashana Khuzwayo Road, from Josiah Gumede Road to Dinkleman, in Pinetown, KwaZulu‐Natal (3.5km) (Work Package A2 and B1). This project forms part of Phase 1 of the eThekwini Integrated Rapid Public Transport Network, KwaZulu-Natal. Phase 1 consists of Corridors 1, 2, 3 and 9. The first phase will consist of bus shelters, dedicated bus and taxi lanes, pedestrian walkways and feeder routes will be built around Bridge City (which includes Phoenix, Inanda and Ntuzuma) as well as Durban including the city centre, Pinetown, Umlazi and Umhlanga. The eThekwini IRPTN will integrate bus, rail and taxi transportation. CIDB 9: R130 Million Plus. Total estimated project value: R 20 billion.
