The Rietvlei Zoo Farm, in Gauteng was originally used by the Johannesburg Zoo as a breeding centre as well as for resting animals, which were off exhibition. The City of Joburg Property Company (JPC) has announced plans for the redevelopment of the Rietvlei Farm Zoo as a mixed-use development.
