About this development
Construction of a 460MW photovoltaic power plant with associated infrastructure and structures approximately 12 km west of Polokwane, between the Percy Fyfe/Mashashane and Matlala Roads on the farm Rietfontein 694 LS, Polokwane Local Municipality, Capricorn District, Limpopo. Access to the project site would be from Matlala Road, which runs northeast of the project site. The PV plant consists of the installation of the following equipment: photovoltaic modules, internal roads, workshops & warehouses, water access point, water supply pipelines and wastewater treatment facilities. The GPS marker has been placed at the site 23°53'54.1"S 29°19'30.4"E
