About this development
Construction of offices for Ridgeside Development. The overall Ridgeside development site is approximately 140ha and is situated to the South of The Manors below Umhlanga Rocks Drive, KwaZulu-Natal which forms the North-Western boundary of the site. The M41 coast road and MR96 road form the South-Eastern and Western boundaries of the site respectively. The development proposes 5 main precincts, namely: A mixed-use precinct adjacent to Umhlanga Rocks Drive for commercial, residential and hotels related uses; A commercial offices precinct adjacent to the M41; Two residential precincts of medium to high density - one adjacent to The Manors and another below the commercial office precinct; and, a precinct for conservation/recreation created around the existing residual coastal forest and natural valley, with access to adjacent residential precincts.
