About this development
Construction of 35 000m² of retail floor space and 2 000 parking bays for a mixed-use development, to be known as Freedom Plaza, in Windhoek, Namibia. The 80 000m² development includes four premium-grade office towers, a six star boutique African Pride Hotel, a four star hotel for Arabella Starwood Group, three trendy residential apartment blocks and a convenient retail component. This will be underpinned by a three level super basement, which will provide secure parking. The site is bordered by Independence Avenue to the West, Sam Nujoma Avenue to the south and Rev Michael Scott Street to the east. This forms part of Phases 2 & 3. Overall project value: R 2 billion.
