Rehabilitation and reconstruction of sections of Main Road 347 (R404) George to Herolds Bay, in the Western Cape. The proposed project entails realigning the sections of road collapsed near Herolds Bay, doubling the existing drainage structure of the Norga River; replacing the inadequate drainage structures over the Modder River opposite Fancourt with a new bridge constructed on piles and the construction of a traffic circle at the MR 347/DR 1635 intersection to enable the turning of busses.
