Realignment of Nithi Bridge

Construction of Nithi Bridge along the Makutano – Embu - Meru (A9) Road, Kenya. Scope of works could include: Design of the old road alignment to bitumen standards for the Nairobi bound traffic to accommodate two lanes of traffic and service roads, inclusive of one grade separated interchange, three overpasses/underpasses and a bridge across the Nithi River. Provision and erection of bridge furniture and markings, signage and other miscellaneous bridge works. Demolishing of any existing river crossings/structures that may impede flow of water along the old alignment. Removal of any existing trees on the proposed alignment and replanting of trees elsewhere. Protection works and erosion protection. Planting of 1000 trees and natural vegetation.
