RBC Distributors Bulk Material and Handling Facility

Construction of the infrastructure required for the RBC Distributors bulk material and handling facility. The facilities will include the following: •3 covered 20 000m³ storage and reclaim facilities with impermeable surfaces. •Covered 45 000m³ silo with an impermeable surface. •Covered load in/load out sodium sulphate facility with an impermeable surface. •5.4m wide concrete roads providing access to various storage and reclaim facilities. •A central admin building consisting of 7 offices, a meeting room, a storeroom, etc. •Partially covered storage and reclaim facilities (55 000m³ x2) with impermeable surfaces; •8 bunkers each having a capacity of 15 000m³; •Weighbridge facilities; •Wash bay; •Access roads to the Harbour Arterial Road and to the R34 (John Ross Highway). •Radial arm tippler and •Railway track work. The proposed site is located in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal and is 500m to the west of the West Central Arterial and south of the John Ross Highway (R34).
