About this development
Construction of approximately 26 manor houses, 50 semi-detached units, 38 row houses and 74 cottages for the proposed Rawdons Country Estate development. The development will also consist of a 7318m² conference centre. The proposed development is located on Portion 59 (of 25), Remainder of Erf 204 Nottingham Road and the Remainder of Portion 137 of the Farm Gowrie No. 1930, Nottingham Road. It is situated in the uMngeni Local Municipality, within the Umgungundlovu District Municipality. The site is located adjacent to the Nottingham Road Village in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The site is bounded to the North East by the R103 and Gowrie Gold Estate, to the South East by the existing Rawdons Hotel, to the North West by the Fort Nottingham Road and various urban areas, and to the South West by the railway and agricultural properties beyond.
