Construction upgrades at the existing Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital located on Erf 563, Coronationville, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The scope of the construction work includes the complete gutting of the existing Emergency Department facility building and then the extensive upgrade works thereto, to leave a fully functional facility. The upgraded emergency department building will be handed over to the Hospital for immediate use in treating patients. The scope of work also includes demolition of masonry single-story building that includes removal of concrete columns, beams, roof slabs and ground slabs. The demolition work includes grubbing to remove foundation structures including basement structures, ramps, concrete apron slabs and surface beds that interefere with the new works.
