About this development
Construction of a mixed-use development on the old race course site in Maseru CBD, Lesotho. The development will be a new comprehensive retail and commercial node of which the Maseru Mall forms part of it. The Mall will be anchored by a 2 800 sqm Shoprite Checkers; a 4 500 sqm Game and a 1 500 sqm Woolworth’s. Phase 1 of the Maseru Mall will be 32 000m², followed by 20 000m² in Phase 2. Other development includes 20 000m² of offices, 8 000m² of motor showrooms, a hotel with 150 rooms, high density residential, a 5 000m² service station. Estimated project value of the Maseru Mall: R430 million.
