About this development

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is looking to construct a power plant in the Kingfisher field which is located on the edge of Lake Albert in Western Uganda, with an ore area of 32.3km. A power plant be be built in the area of central processing facilities to support crude oil production. The power plant is designed with 4 gas turbine generators with completion being targeted in the second quarter of 2019. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is 0.9583493, 30.5698083
