About this development
Construction of a velodrome complex in Potchefstroom, North West Province. A Velodrome is a circular indoor arena for track cycling. It consists of a steeply banked oval track with two 180-degree circular bends connected by two straights. The straights transition to the circular turn through a moderate easement curve. The Wooden track is 250 m long and will have an inner field for numerous Olympic Sports codes and an initial seating capacity of 1 000.
