Construction of Contract 1 for the Port St Johns wastewater treatment works in Port St Johns, Eastern Cape. CIDB 8CE. This contract entails the construction of a waste water treatment works to service the entire town of Port St John’s and includes the bulk excavation for platforms, foundations of structures for the construction of 2 x operators houses and administration block including paved parking. Pipe trenches, fill underneath the inlet works, backfill around structures, stormwater channels and structures, road works and culvert bridge crossing, concrete and gabion basket retaining walls. The town of Port St Johns is approximately 98km east of Mthatha and accessed through the R61. Access to the site is via the tarred main road near the PSJ golf course. The central coordinates of the site are 31°37'58.29"S 29° 32'50.11"E
