Expansion and modernisation of Port Victoria in the Seychelles.The existing quay of Port Victoria, currently 270 meters long, will be extended an additional 330 meters. The project will cost around US$ 107 million. Upgrades and maintenance of the Seychelles sea port offers opportunities for PPP transactions. GPS coordinates lat: -4.6166667; long: 55.4833333. Phase 1 includes construction of the south quay wall in the length of 300m and dredging to a depth of 13.5m. The phase 2 will be implemented immediately upon completion of phase 1 with the construction of another 300m of quay wall. Both phases 1 and 2 will cost €60 million. The officials added that phase 3, which will be a public private partnership project, will include an additional extension of the quay by 400m southward from phase 1 towards the Queenie Bay at the ex Seychelles Coast Guard.
