About this development
Pobe-Ketou-Illara Road Rehabilitation Project, Cotonou, Benin. Scope: (i): improving the level of service of the Pobé-Kétou-Illara road & the living conditions of the zone's population. PRINCIPAL ROADS: (i) rehabilitation of 42,8km road; (ii) refitting & coating of 16,5km road according to the standards of CEDEAO; (iii) control & monitoring of work. RURAL ROADS: (i) establishment of route plans of 254km roads & preparation of tender documents for roadworks; (ii) maintenance & refitting of 254km related roads; (iii) control & monitoring of related roadworks. ADDITIONAL WORK: i) installation of village water conveyance systems (AEV); ii) rehabilitation of school & medical infrastructures; iii) rehabilitation of warehouses & parking at Pobè, Kétou & of Illara markets; iv) survey of water points, control & monitoring of additional work. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Road safety & design strategy of roads maintenance & installation of village water conveyancing systems (AEV). Est $US12 million.
