About this development
Construction of two 630mm steel bulk pipelines from Saulspoort water treatment works to Birdcage Hill and Bakenpark reservoirs in Bethlehem, Free State. CIDB 8CE. The scope comprises the construction of two 2,860km (630mm dia steel) pumplines from the water treatment works to Birdcage reservoirs, as well as the construction of one, 330m (630mm dia steel) pipeline that t-off from the main pipelines to provide water to Bakenpark reservoir, including valve chambers and appurtenant works. The location of the works are located at the following coordinates: Water treatment works: 28°13'00.8"S 28°21'34.68"E, Birdcage reservoirs: 28°13'17.09"S 28°19'58.11"E, Bakenpark Reservoir: 28°13'12.07"S 28°20'10.79"E.
