Installation of a pipeline for conveyance of sludge at Zuikerbosch Pump station. The project is located at the Zuikerbosch Pumping Station of the Vaal River in Vereeniging, Gauteng. Description and Extent The project involves the following: 1.The installation of a pipeline (800 mm diameter) directly from central sludge 3 to central sludge 2; 2. An emergency link from central sludge 2 to Panfontein into a disused sludge dam on the Zuikerbosch site (if problems occur e.g. damage for whatever reason); 3. An emergency storage for sludge at central sludge 1 (to supplement the deficient storage facility at central sludge 1).
