Project overview
About this development
Construction of a 16MWp solar PV farm at Petite Riviére, Mauritius. The PV farm has been sized to a maximum capacity of 16MWp in two separate lots: 1) Lot 1: 4MWp DC installation to supply grid capacity of 3.2MWac; 2) Lot 2: 12MWp DC installation to supply a grid capacity of 10MWac. The proposed PV farm will consist of a total of 27,144 framed glass mono crystalline PV modules. The rated capacity of the PV modules to be used are 590Wp, a maximum voltage of 1500V, and a junction box IP68. The PV modules will be connected to string inverters. A total of 49 inverters will be used for this project. The inverters will then be connected to a transformer to step up the voltage to 22kV and there will be a total of 4 transformer stations. The 10MWac farm will be connected to the nearest CEB Substation which is located in La Tour Koenig substation via 22kV transmission line and the 3.2MWac project will be connected to Petit Verger feeder via 22kV transmission line. This development will take place over an area of approximately 120,000m².
