The first phase of the Pemba Port Logistical Base in Mozambique is budgeted at US150 million and will include the building of a logistical base and the installations for production and assembly of subsea equipment used in the hydrocarbon industry, The new port in the city of Pemba will have a 300 meter dock capable of receiving ships with a maximum draught of 12 meters and a variety of other facilities on a 36 hectare plot. The cost of the first Phase is US$150 million and the total cost is estimated at over US$1 billion.
