Construction at the Palmiet Pumping Station in Brackendowns, Alberton in Gauteng. The scope of works will include: the supply, delivery and installation of surge protection pipework, the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and putting into service of disinfection plants, construction of 20Ml reservoir and design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of associated piping inclusive of valve chambers and construction for the earthworks, pipe laying and civil works for the construction of the 44750m of 2100mm diameter steel B17 pipeline from Zuikerbosch Pumping Station to Palmiet Pumping Station and the 3000m of 1300mm diameter steel B18 pipeline from Slangfontein to the B16 Cross- connection. Value: R270 million.
