About this development
Upgrading of Oranjeville water treatment plant for Work Package 1, Free State. CIDB Grading: 8CE/ME or higher. The scope of works includes the following: Upgrade the complete electrical infrastructure of the water works pump station, replace three (3) pumps and motors, construct a 4ML/ DAY WTW package plant. Replace the old plant control system with the new Telematics/Scada system, refurbish the existing building structure to a building regulation compliant structure, replace the old roof, rafters, facia boards and waterproof the building on the inside, all sluice gates to be supplied with new packing inside them, replace the current wooden door with heavy steel door for theft protection. Build a guardhouse and install the gate next to the pump station 2 and install the gate at the main entrance into the water works. The GPS location of the WTP is 26°59'37.3"S 28°12'31.1"E
