About this development
Maintenance and rehabilitation of various Taxiways and the construction of nine new aircraft stands on the Echo Apron, at the OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, in Gauteng. Six of these stands will be A380 compliant. The pavement of the runway and the taxiways on the eastern part of the airport will be rehabilitated and upgraded to accommodate the A380. Aircraft re-fueling pipelines to this area will also be replaced. Value: R219 million.
