Zululand Anthracite Colliery is proposing a new open pit west of the existing Deep-E shaft within its existing mineral rights area at the Zululand Colliery near Ulundi in KwaZulu-Natal. The following main activities will take place : mining of the proposed new open pit, construction of a haul road from the proposed pit to the existing road and erection of a temporary office (container) and chemical ablution facilities.
