Construction of Oceans Mall which will consist of a 23 000m² retail mall podium, 90 000m² structured parking, 5 000m² showrooms on Ridge Road, loading, ablution and storage areas, arranged over two levels and carrying international brands, for Oceans @ Umhlanga (previously known as Gandhi Square) in Umhlanga Village, KwaZulu-Natal. The development site is located in the Umhlanga CBD, portion 15 of erf 379 and is bounded by the Ridge Road Extension in the West, Lighthouse Road in the South, Lagoon Drive in the East and Flamingo Drive in the North. The site sits on approximately 7ha of prime land that nestles in the heart of Umhlanga. The development will also include a residential component, consisting of 2 residential towers with a total of 460 residential units; and a 200-room Radisson Blu Hotel, which will form part of the Ocean Mall from the fourth floor.
