About this development
Upgrade of the Ntambanana water supply, situated within the City of uMhlathuze Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. The scope of works includes construction of a 350mm bulk water pipeline of approximately 6.55km of ductile iron pipeline; 315mm bulk pipeline of approximately 4.8km PVC-O pipeline, a pump station providing 85l/s at 105m head and an upgrade of the pump station to provide 127l/s at 244m head; bulk water pipelines of approximately 13km ranging from 350mm to 200mm at pressure rating of 12-16 bars. The pipeline will extend from Enseleni to Ntambanana. Estimated project value: R65 million.
