The project is located in Dutse, in the northern Nigerian state of Jigawa. The project entails the construction of a 100 MW solar power plant, which will be able to produce 200 000 MWh/y of electricity and avoid 120 000t/y of carbon dioxide emissions. The project includes the construction of a dedicated 132kV overhead transmission line that will connect the plant to the Dutse substation. Estimate project value: US$150 million.
