Construction of non-motorised infrastructure in Extensions 4, 15, 26 and Annadale in Polokwane, Limpopo. Value R25 338 722.74. The scope of works is as follows: Paved pedestrian walkways on either one or both side walks, paved cycle ways on either one or both sidewalks/sides of the road (marked), road signage, kerbs and tactile pavers at intersections, road marking and traffic light and intersection upgrades. The location and lengths of the NMT that must be constructed are as follows: Zebediela Street to Nelson Mandela Drive (254m), Vermikuliet Street (RHS) from Nelson Mandela Drive to Andalusiet Street (1 368m), Vermikuliet Street (south side only) from Andalusiet Street to Mika Street (659m), Vermikuliet Street to River Street (137m), Staal Street from Vermikuliet Street to Middle Street (2 300m), Fluoorspaar Street from Blaauwberg Street to Silicon Street (360m), 2 x junction boxes at end of concrete canal, Vermikuliet ch 0.320, culvert extension at Vermikuliet (ch 0.200 RHS) and a new culvert at Link AB (ch0.220).
