About this development
Construction of a private hospital for a proposed mixed-use development on farmland located 40km outside of the capital Lusaka along the Leopards Hill Road in Zambia. The developers plan to develop Zambia's larges private residential community on the property featuring an American liberal arts University, a large shopping mall, primary and secondary schools, sport centre, private hospital, hotel and pleasure resort, as well as large communal parks and lakes. The residential zone will be separate from its commercial zone, with the two sharing common areas such as lakes and parks. The residential zone will cover 2 100 acres and will include 2 400 upmarket mansions and 9 600 medium cost mansions. Previously known as Oak Ridge mixed used development.
