Project overview
About this development
In October 2013, exploration license 5966 which hosts the Nicanda Hill prospect in Mozambique was granted by the Mozambique Mining Minister. This allowed the Company to begin exploring the highly prospective Nicanda Hill prospect where reconnaissance mapping had previously identified a number of visible graphitic exposures over a distance of 3.75km. By November 2013, Triton successfully managed to complete a limited Diamond drilling and trenching programs over the Nicanda Hill prospect. This drill program on the Nicanda Hill prospect was constrained by the onset of the wet season. Graphitic occurrences were mapped in two trenches that were dug on the high points of the topographic ridge of the Nicanda Hill prospect. These trenches are located approximately 0.3km and 1.35km northeast of the two recently drilled diamond holes. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -13.194426114202818, long: 38.79192537901741
