About this development
Construction of the 73MW Ngoulmendjim hydro power plant on the Komo River, east of Libreville in the province of Estuaire, Gabon. Related infrastructure works are as follows: Rehabilitation works on the road over approximately 60km from the bridge over the Mbé or from the Nzamalingue landing stage. The construction of a permanent laterite road of approximately 10km at the level of the dam site. Worksite tracks for the movement of machinery between the quarry site, the earthworks areas and the depot areas, life bases etc. Access tracks to the pylons of the high voltage line. The construction of a bridge located downstream of the dam is planned as well as its connection to the existing tracks of the SEEF. The estimated project value is €417 million.
