The construction comprises the erection and completion of new multi-storey hotel with a basement for parking and minor storage and access areas. The north and west wings consist of the basement and eight storeys of apartments, wellness centre and other mixed usage areas, while the front (east) wing consist of the basement and two, high ceiling level, restaurant, conference, public, reception and port-cochere areas. There will be waterproofed and landscaped decks at the pool and water feature areas with a structural pool timber pool deck and a water feature. A curved steel and sheeting roof covers to conference areas. The building is serviced by three lifts. The hotel, which is 500m from the Gautrain Station and 1.2 km from the airport will have a complimentary bus service between the hotel and the airport. There will be more than 280 rooms of which 45 are suites. Value of contract: More than R300 million.
