New Mixed-Use Facility at UCT Hiddingh Campus

Construction of a new mixed-use teaching, storage and workshop facility on UCT Hiddingh Campus, Orange Street, Cape Town, in the Western Cape. The scope includes, inter alia: the construction of the new workshop building: Basement level - 345m²: men's/ women's/ private dressing rooms, men's/ women's wc, store, circulation - stair and elevator. Ground floor - 398m²: general workshop area, offices, store, green room/ foyer. circulation - stair and elevator. First floor - 331m²: wardrobe, sewing room, costume making/ craft room, laundry / kitchen / staff room, fitting room, office, circulation - stair and elevator. The above includes: demolition of existing structures, excavation, new building consisting of masonry / steel / facade cladding, new drainage and plumbing, painting and floor finishes, door and window installations, mechanical, electrical, fire detection / protection installations.
