New Engcobo WTW & Associated Outfall Sewer

Construction of the new Engcobo wastewater treatment works and associated outfall sewer for Engcobo Local Municipality, Engcobo, Eastern Cape. Scope of works include: Construction of a new 2.0 Ml per day wastewater treatment works on a greenfield site and approximately 3.2 km of 315mm diameter uPVC Class 34 outfall sewer pipeline with associated sewer manholes, two jacked pipe crossings under the R61 main road. Roadworks 10, site perimeter fencing, landscaping including bulk earthworks and retaining walls, screening and de-gritting channel, one reinforced 67m long x 18m wide and 5m deep concrete activated sludge bio reactor, 2x 15m diameter reinforced concrete secondary settling tanks: 14x drying beds with associated connecting pipework, operator's office, control room, laboratory and ablution facilities. +-R91 000 000.
