About this development
Refurbishment of the Ndwedwe South System water scheme in KwaZulu-Natal. The scope of works includes the installation of 2 prefabricated 2.4Ml steel tanks and a 20Kl elevated steel tank; refurbishment of existing pump stations and river abstraction works; refurbishment and upgrading of existing water treatment package plants; construction of 5 x 3Kl break pressure tanks; replacement and upgrading of existing bulk pipelines, which will consist of the construction of 0.73km of ND100mm and 5.25km of ND150mm steel rising mains, 1.20km of ND110mm gravity and 4.78km of ND160 PVC rising mains, 1.2km of ND75 HDPE rising main and repairs to existing reticulation pipelines and metered yard connections.
