About this development
The Namoya project is situated at the south-western end of the Twangiza-Namoya gold belt, in the Maniema province of the eastern DRC, in Central Africa and covers an area of 174km². The preliminary assessment for the project proposes a two million ton a year heap-leaching processing facility. The proposed heap-leach operation could produce an average of 131 000 oz/y of gold over a seven year mine life. Estimated project value $148 million.
