About this development
Construction of the 420MW run-of-river Nachtigal Hydropower Project on the Sanaga River in Nachtigal, Cameroon. The plant will comprise of two roller compacted concrete dams on the Sanaga River with a length of 1.5km long and 14m high, the supply canal will be 3.4km long. The reservoir will have a surface area of 4.21km² and a storage capacity of 27.8m³. The estimated contract value is U$1.37 billion. The GPS co-ordinates are 4.3542030, 11.6245056
