N2 Upgrade - North Coast

Upgrade of the N2 section 26 from Mt Edgecombe Interchange (km 2.0) to Tongaat Toll Plaza (km 21.0), in KwaZulu-Natal. The project will involve widening the existing Northbound (NBC) and Southbound (SBC) carriageways. Widening in the median and in some areas on the outside of both the NBC and the SBC within the existing road reserve, for additional lanes. Raising of existing overhead bridge decks at La Lucia Interchange Bridge B540 and Hill Head Grade Separation Bridge B544. Widening of existing bridges and box culverts for the additional lanes in each direction. Retaining walls for the additional lanes in each direction. Improvements to the Mt Edgecombe Interchange and improvements to the Mhloti Interchange.
