Construction of the N17 Toll Route between Springs in Gauteng Province, through Mpumalanga to the Oshoek Border Post which is on the border of Mpumalanga and Swaziland. Total length of the proposed toll road is approximately 290km. The construction will be done in sections: Springs to Leandra - 48km is the Gauteng section. Leandra to Leven Station - 21km, Leven Station to Trichardt - 12km, Trichardt to Bethal - 30km, Bethal to Ermelo - 50km and Ermelo to Oshoek - 130km, all of which fall under the Mpumalanga section.
