Rehabilitation of National Route N1 Section 21 From Proefplaas Interchange at km 32.8 to Section 22 Pumulami Mainline Plaza at km 2.4, Pretoria, Gauteng. The contract value is R318 207 300.67. The work includes rehabilitation of the slow lane on both the northbound and southbound carriageway; the rehabilitation of sections of the Proefplaas Interchange, the Stormvoël Interchange and the Zambezi Interchange and an asphalt overlay of the entire road surface. The road is a dual carriageway with the following configurations: N1-21 km 32.8 to N1-21 km 39.8 (7km): 4, 3.7m wide lanes in either direction with a 2.5m wide slow lane shoulder and a 1.6m wide fast lane shoulder. N1-21 km 39.8 to N1-22 km 2.4 (6.2 km): 3, 3.7 m wide lanes in either direction with a 2.5m wide slow lane shoulder and a 1.1m wide fast lane shoulder. The project construction starts at the Proefplaas Interchange, the coordinates are 25°44'25.3"S 28°15'53.7"E
