About this development
Construction of infrastructure for the development of a new coal-fired power station, Mutsho Power Project, on a site approximately 20km north-west of the Makhado Colliery, Musina Local Municipality, Vembe District. Limpopo Province. A minimum footprint of approximately 600ha is required to support areas for the establishment of coal and other raw materials stockpiles and an ash dump. The project will be developed on the remainder of Farm Du Toit 563 and the remainder of the Farm Vrienden 589 approximately 43 km south of Musina and 40km north of Makhado. Scope of works could also include the upgrading of the existing or the establishment of a new rail siding. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is 22°40'00.0"S 29°50'00.0"E
