Jangamo / Mutamba Mineral Sands Project is a 180 km² area heavy mineral sands project, located in a mineral sands province in southern Mozambique. Geological reconnaissance and scout drilling work has confirmed that the project is covered by a series of north-east trending quaternary dunal and fluvial systems. The area has three morphological zones, composed of two inland dunes (red sands), which are the areas with the highest elevation, separated by a low lying area (alluvial sands), with different sedimentary characteristics. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -24.1141681; long: 35.3176299.
