About this development
Construction of a proposed multibillion-rand 300-MW to 900-MW coal-fired power station project. The project could be developed on the Vele coal deposits near Musina, in Limpopo province. It will form part of Eskom's capacity expansion programme aimed at resolving the country's energy shortages.
