About this development
Construction of civil and infrastructure works for the proposed new city at Mt Hampden, Zimbabwe. The new city will also have the supreme and high courts, the reserve bank, upmarket suburbs, hotels and shopping malls as well as a university, technology centre, schools, churches, hospitals and industrial sites. A state house and official residences for the speaker and senate president will also be constructed. It is estimated that the new city will cost US$500m. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -17.7293108; long: 30.9474747.
