About this development
Construction of services and infrastructure for the Mountainview Residential Estate as part of the Gauteng Highlands Development. The site, Mountain View, approx 286 ha is located is to the east of the Perdeberg mountain, west of the Drumblade Agricultural Holdings. Part of the site straddles the intersection of Joan Road and Randvaal Road, Midvaal, in Gauteng. The township will consist of approx 799 “Residential 1” stands varying in area between 900m² and 1 500m². There will also be “group housing” in the form of a “Residential 3” zoning for approx 12 erven covering an area of about 26.3 ha, at a density of ±35 units per hectare, resulting in ±910 residential dwelling units. The development will have two access control sites and land will be provided for parks and a small community facility. Sites are to be provided for an electrical substation and for stormwater attenuation facilities.
